Mommy and Me Yoga- 4 Week Series

Join us for our SECOND Mommy and Me yoga series! Our Registered instructor Sarah Whiteman will inspire you and your child to bond together in a unique, fun yet calming way that will help you get back to your body, and at the same time foster a love for exercise and healthy habits in your child.

How do I do yoga WITH my child? Depending on your child’s age and independence, you will vary between working side by side on your yoga postures and incorporating them in some partner poses which will help fuel your connection to one another (and help your muscles build strength!) Classes are a bit lighter in mood than traditional yoga classes, but our goals remain focused on building strength, balancing, breathing and flexibility.

Join She Thrives Registered Yoga Teacher, Sarah Whiteman on a journey that will expand your yoga practice or take you from beginner, to winner! Just kidding, we’re all winners. Sarah will help you find yoga postures that will help you feel more at home in your body and give you increased confidence and ease in your daily life.

The class will run Monday evenings all summer. Drop in Rates are $15 per class, or you can purchase 5 or 10 class pass at She Thrives, which can be used for any of our evening yoga classes.

Nourishing the Body Series is designed to support participants in gaining a deeper understanding of their own bodies by providing education focusing on how the body functions as a whole system. The body is always trying to bring itself back into a state of balance (homeostasis) and when it is unable to do so it will start to exhibit symptoms. We focus on understanding symptoms or conditions from a broader, whole person perspective, tying in the different factors that could be contributing to your current state of health.
